KSI, 31, made his name on YouTube but has founded Misfits Boxing, which has seen social media stars face off in the ring.
He has now proposed the idea of getting Ronaldo, 39, to swap his boots for gloves.
The suggestion that was put forward included getting Ronaldo to fight another former Manchester United player, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
He told talkSPORT: “You never know.
“Him versus Ibrahimovic, that could be something.”
Ronaldo is currently playing his football for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League but is a fan of boxing.
The forward’s mega-contract is set to expire at the end of this season with no word on an extension just yet.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has previously claimed that he is keen to continue his on-pitch career into his forties.

However, he has started making moves for his career post-retirement.
This has included starting a YouTube channel of his own, which has already amassed millions of subscribers.
KSI spoke about the forward’s instant success on the platform.
He added: “Ronaldo’s smashing it with his YouTube channel.
“He’s already on 30 million, and it’s been less than a day.
“He’s done well, but he’s one of the most famous people in the world, so you kind of expect it.”
KSI currently has seven bouts scheduled to take place, including former Premier League winner Danny Simpson, who will take on YouTuber Danny Aarons.
The fight has KSI excited to see how the pair get on in their boxing debuts.
He said: “To see them collide, it’s going to be exciting because it’s the first time for both of them to be in the ring.
“So I’m excited for that.”
