Christian Horner updates — Red Bull boss calls for swift end to probe amid ‘sex text’ allegations as he leads testing
RED Bull boss Christian Horner led testing ahead of the start of the F1 season in Bahrain this week as he called for a swift conclusion to the investigation into his alleged “inappropriate” behaviour.
Horner, 50, is under investigation by Red Bull for alleged “inappropriate” behaviour toward a female member of staff, with Dutch publication De Telegraaf claiming he sent “sex texts” to the employee.
The Red Bull boss faced the media on Thursday, where he said he wants the investigation to conclude “as soon as possible.”
F1 has broken its silence in a statement that reads: “We hope that the matter will be clarified at the earliest opportunity after a fair and thorough process.
“We have noted Red Bull has instigated an independent investigation into internal allegations at Red Bull Racing. We will not comment further at this time.”
