Chelsea ‘rip up contract of £100,000-a-week forgotten man Malang Sarr’ as he leaves after 8 league games in 4 years

CHELSEA have released forgotten star Malang Sarr, according to reports.

The defender made just eight Premier League appearances for the club in four years.

Sarr, 25, is now expected to sign a deal with Ligue 1 side Lens, according to L’Equipe.

The Frenchman joined Chelsea from Porto on a free transfer in the summer of 2020.

He put pen to paper on a five-year deal worth £100,000 a week.

That means Chelsea have cancelled his contract early, with Sarr picking up £20.8million from his spell at Stamford Bridge.
