Chelsea ‘complete first January transfer signing’ for little-known 17-year-old as fans ask ‘are we running a daycare?’
CHELSEA have signed wonderkid Pape Daouda Diong, according to reports.
The Blues are wasting no time in the January transfer market and have a deal in place for the midfielder before the window officially opens.

Diong, 17, will join from Senegalese club AF Darou Salam.
He won’t be able to play for Chelsea until he turns 18 in the summer, claims Fabrizio Romano.
Diong was spotted in the stands at Stamford Bridge last week as Chelsea beat Newcastle on penalties in the Carabao Cup.
He was sat alongside Kendry Paez, 16, who agreed to join the Blues for £17.5million in the summer but can’t play until 2025.
Diong reportedly caught the eye of the club at the Under-17s World Cup for Senegal.
The player has already been compared to Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira.
Diong is the most recent wonderkid to sign for Chelsea and fans have questioned the transfer strategy.

Another added: “We have signed a kid again when we should be looking at established players to compliment the young kids we already have.”
A third reacted: “This club don’t want to rest in signing players.”
Others were more positive, saying: “The project is in full motion, let’s have him.”
