Chelsea 1 Crystal Palace 1: Nicolas Jackson celebrates NINE-YEAR deal with opening goal before Eze’s sublime equaliser
CHELSEA continued their inconsistent start to the season as they stuttered to a draw with Crystal Palace.
They dominated the first half at Stamford Bridge and took a deserved lead into the break after Nicolas Jackson tapped in from close range.

A well worked move culminated with Cole Palmer poking across the box for Jackson to score – the England star’s fourth assist of the season.
But Palace were resurgent after the break and difficult to break down.
They put pressure on Chelsea too and were rewarded when Eberechi Eze’s fine curling effort from outside the box found the top corner.
The Blues were dealt a further injury blow with Malo Gusto forced off, leaving them short of a natural right-back.
