Celta Vigo confident Joseph Aidoo will be fit for Villarreal clash
Celta Vigo expect Joseph Aidoo to be available for their La Liga clash with Villarreal on Sunday.The Ghana defender was among four Celta players who suffered injuries in the 2-0 win over Levante on Friday night.Aidoo was substituted at halftime due to injury. He put up a great defensive performance in the first 45 minutes.The club reported after the match defender suffered a muscular problem, which the doctors described as “discomfort” and affect the right femoral biceps.However, they are optimistic Aidoo will be fit to play against Villarreal.Celta are not in contention for a European spot neither are they battling relegation with five games to go. But their target is to finish the campaign strongly.They have won their last two games, and want to extend it to three games by beating Villarreal.The 25-year-old has featured in 23 league games this season.
