Bundesliga II side Fortuna Dusseldorf are hoping to keep Kevin Danso at the club beyond the 2020/21 season according to Klaus Allofs. The 21-year old has been an integral member of the Dusseldorf squad in the ongoing campaign.Danso current loan move to Dusseldorfhad no purchase option thus he will be returning to Augsburg at the end of the season.According to Klaus Allofs the club is set to open talks with the former Southampton right back on his interest on staying at the club at the end of the season.”At the end of the season we will sit down”, Klaus Allofs told Rheinische Post.”The basic requirement is that the player should have the feeling that he sees his future with us. We have to convince him of this by creating the appropriate framework,” explains the board member of Fortuna Dsseldorf.”We could imagine keeping him with us a lot longer. But as I said, that’s not an issue at all at the moment,” said Allofs. “The starting position would, of course, change decisively if Fortuna were promoted and Danso continued to play a key role”.He has made 15 appearances in the ongoing season for Dusseldorf and has scored one goal.
