Home fans delighted in their exciting football as Southampton’s meticulous passing style failed to impress.

And the results mean Bournemouth have moved above Man Utd in the table to 11th.

While the Saints remain in 19th as they search for their first win of the season.

However, a bad night for Russell Martin’s travelling fans got even worse.

With just minutes of the game left, the Vitality Stadium’s announcer gave them some unpleasant news.

Cheers rang out from home fans as Saints supporters were informed that the last train back to their city had been cancelled.
