Brondby ultras throw DEAD RATS on to pitch after loss as they’re branded ‘most f***ed up fans in Denmark’
FANS of Danish giants Brondby have been branded the vermin of football – after throwing DEAD RATS onto the pitch.
The Superliga high-flyers blew a 2-1 lead with six minutes left to lose 3-2 at home as big rivals FC Copenhagen went top with Sunday’s win.

And Brondby’s woes deepened when Danish media published pictures of dead rodents on the turf during the local derby.
The pests were seen in front of Brondby Stadium’s South Side, home to the club’s most hardcore fans.
Communications director Christian Schultz revealed the club have already launched a probe into Sunday’s events.
He told Ekstra Bladet: “Should our investigations confirm that a dead rat was thrown onto the pitch during the match, then it is first and foremost incomprehensibly stupid.
“It is something that we as a club strongly reject.
“The person can, if identified, of course expect a quite considerable suspension and fine.
“As is customary after any match, we are in the process of reviewing our extensive video material.
“We are debriefing our stewards on possible breaches of stadium regulations in connection with the derby, in order to identify and punish those individuals who have breached the rules.”

Brondby supporters also came under fire on social media, with one fan claiming they have “the most f****d up fans in Denmark.”
Another wrote: “Do they just walk around with dead rats in their pockets?”
And a third blasted: “How the hell do they get them into the stadium with all the security?”
The club’s fans infamously threw rats during the same fixture in 2017, targeting Copenhagen defender Nicolai Boilesen, who had come through Brondby’s academy.
A source told local media: “Those rats were aimed at Boilesen’s head because of his sickening statements, which everyone laughs at.
“He said he would always be a Brondby fan, and then he chose to play for Copenhagen.”
Copenhagen’s team on Sunday included ex-Liverpool and Huddersfield keeper Kamil Grabara, former Southampton and Celtic striker Mohamed Elyounoussi and frontman Jordan Larsson, the son of Celtic legend Henrik.
