Gary O’Neil’s men will look to strengthen ahead of next term, and have cleared some space in their squad by releasing nine professionals and a further two scholars.

Bournemouth have confirmed Jefferson Lerma’s expected departure, with the midfielder having already agreed to join Crystal Palace.

The 28-year-old has penned a three-year contract with the Eagles ahead of next term.

Also departing the Vitality Stadium is stalwart Junior Stanislas.

The winger twice helped the Cherries achieve promotion to the Premier League, having joined from Burnley in 2014.

Stanislas, 33, made 179 appearances for Bournemouth, scoring 37 goals and laying on 24 assists.

He struggled for game time during his final season, making just four substitute appearances in the Premier League.
