BODYBUILDER Christian Figueiredo has died aged 29 after suffering a stroke during an operation.
The tragic news of his death was announced by his heartbroken wife Vivi Torres on Instagram.

The 29-year-old Brazilian died after complications during liver surgery.
Vivi shared an emotional post where she wrote: “We were going to complete 11 years since we knew each other and we never left each other again. A soul thing.
“It will always be you! Forever. I love you and I will always love you Mo
“God took you close to him to a beautiful and safer place as you deserve where He will give you tranquility and peace.
“You taught me the true meaning of marriage, partnership, love and how we spoke these days, in the difficulties that brought us closer.
“You edited this video with this song that you loved because you thought the lyrics were similar to your story. I only have good memories of you.
“Our love is soul love and will be eternal. I love you and I will always love you Mo . What a pain my God. Rest in peace my love.”
A friend of the bodybuilder told Generation Iron that “it was supposed to be a pretty simple surgery but there were complications.”
Fellow bodybuilder Ricardo Alexandre Martins Correia, who was at the hospital said there was “nothing the doctors could do” to save his friend.
He said: “Chris needed the surgery but sadly had a stroke.
“They tried to prevent the bleeding from getting serious haemorrhage and then he had an unusual heart attack. The body went into shock.”
He added: “Sadly, there are things beyond our control. It was simpler than mine.
“Life is like that, there are things out of our control.
“We lost a brother, a guy I will love forever.”
Figueiredo was a pro bodybuilder who earned his Pro card in 2022 during the Musclecontest in Brazil.
Known for his incredible physique that featured great conditioning and symmetry, he was preparing to take on the IFBB in 2024.
His death comes as another Brazilian bodybuilder was brutally killed by two assassins during a training session.
Ex-bodybuilding champion Eustácio Batista was shot dead while he was training at a gym in Botucatu, São Paulo – and the horror moment was caught by CCTV.
