Bernardo Silva transfer news – next club odds: Barcelona favourites for Man City star despite new Lionel Messi claim
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have their sights on Manchester City playmaker Bernardo Silva.
But Betfair aren’t necessarily convinced the Parisian heavyweights will capture his signature in the upcoming transfer window.

Instead, the bookmakers believe that Spanish champions Barcelona and Primeira Liga leaders Benfica are the leading contenders.
Barcelona, who tried to sign Bernardo last summer, are available at 2/1 with Xavi a known admirer of the 28-year-old midfielder.
A product of their academy, Benfica are just behind at 4/1 to bring Silva back to his native Portugal, eight years after selling him to Monaco for just £13million.
Bayern Munich are 8/1, narrowly ahead of PSG at 10/1.
French newspaper Le Parisien claim PSG have identified Silva as their priority signing to replace Lionel Messi this summer.
Messi is expected to leave despite having 12 months remaining on his contract at the Parc des Princes, following his suspension for taking a trip to Saudi Arabia.
A sensational return to Monaco is available at 20/1.

Silva has just over two years remaining on his contract, which expires in June 2025.
The player has scored 53 goals and provided 58 assists in 302 matches for Manchester City, helping the club to four Premier League titles.
Silva has made no secret of his desire to leave Manchester City in search of a fresh challenge elsewhere.
Speaking to Portuguese news outlet Record in January, Silva said: “I’m very focused on this season and it doesn’t make sense to talk about leaving because we’re in the middle of the season.
“I won’t hide that my goal in the coming years, if something good happens elsewhere, will probably be to move to a new project.”
