BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2024 betting odds: Luke Littler favourite ahead of Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham

LUKE LITTLER is 4/1 favourite to be crowned the 2024 BBC Sports Personality of the Year.

That’s according to bookmakers Sky Bet following the 16-year-old’s stunning fairytale run to the semi-finals of the PDC Darts World Championship.

The teenager has taken Alexandra Palace by storm, and is now just two wins away from landing the title in addition to a whopping £500,000 in prize money.

The Bayern Munich centre-forward, 30, will lead the Three Lions at this summer’s European Championships in Germany alongside 12/1 chance Jude Bellingham.

Clinching Euro 2024 would represent England’s first major men’s trophy since the 1966 World Cup, and more than likely see the pair installed as favourites.

Katarina Johnson-Thompson came third in the 2023 SPOTY awards after her impressive World Championship victory in Budapest.

She’s available at 12/1 ahead of the Paris Olympics, which takes place between July 26th and August 11.

Athletics does notoriously well in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards, winning it 18 times with Formula One the next closest with eight and football with seven.

Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will fight for the undisputed heavyweight title on 17 February in Saudi Arabia with the winner set to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion since 1999.
