Ballon d’Or 2022 winner odds: Real Madrid superstar Karim Benzema set to scoop top prize in Paris tonight
KARIM BENZEMA will scoop the 2022 Ballon d’Or award tonight.
At least that’s what bookmakers Betfair are predicting with the Frenchman priced at 1/33 to collect the top prize in Paris.

Benzema has never placed in the top three for this award in an era dominated by Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
The superstar duo won it for ten consecutive years between 2008 and 2017 with Luka Modric being the only player to gatecrash their party in 2018.
But the 34-year-old’s name will, in all likelihood, be read out tonight after a sensational period.
Benzema finished the 2021-22 season with an incredible 44 goals in 46 games, and a further 15 assists to boot.
He guided Real Madrid to the Spanish league title and the Champions League, which was their first since Ronaldo’s departure in 2018.

The Lyon-born striker netted a 17-minute hat-trick in their memorable round of sixteen tie against Paris Saint-Germain in March.
He’s since become Real Madrid’s second highest all-time goal scorer, and the all-time French leading goal scorer.
And Brazilian legend Ronaldo, who won two Ballon d’Or awards, thinks Benzema is fully deserving of the prize.
He said: “For years, he was in Cristiano Ronaldo’s shadow, but he has shown he is a great player who really deserves to win this Ballon d’Or.
“He has been playing well for many years, but this last season he was very decisive for Madrid.
“He returned to play with France too. He has the talent to deserve the Ballon d’Or.”
