WE are nearing the end of what has been a thrilling Australian Open tournament – and hot favourite Coco Gauff is the latest to crash out of the competition.
The American superstar suffered a straight sets defeat at the hands of World No.2 Aryna Sabalenka who will face Qinwen Zheng in the Women’s final.
Spanish sensation Carlos Alcaraz – who has won both Wimbledon and the US Open in the last 18 months – also went OUT after losing to Alexander Zverev in the quarter-final.
But Novak Djokovic’s bid to reclaim his crown is still on as he faces Jannik Sinner tomorrow.
