ARSENAL have reportedly shortlisted four strikers ahead of a push for a title charge.

Mikel Arteta‘s side currently top the Premier League table by a single point.

The Gunners led the league for much of last season but dropped off towards the end due to a lack of depth.

The North London side are determined to learn from their mistakes this season.

The Athletic have claimed that there are four strikers on the club’s shortlist ahead of the January transfer window.

The list includes Brentford‘s banned star Ivan Toney.

The striker has not played this season due to his ban for breaking betting rules, but that has not stopped speculation over his future.

Arsenal have been widely backed as the favourites to sign the Bee that netted 20 goals in the Premier League last season.

However, the report claims that there are three other names on the list that the Gunners could pursue.

Toney is reportedly available to buy for £80million.

One name that is mentioned is Napoli hitman Victor Osimhen.

The £120m-rated hotshot is one of the most dangerous strikers in Europe after helping the club to the league title last season.

Osimhen, like Toney, would be seen as ready to slot straight into the Gunners line up.

The other two names would present more of a look to the future.

Brighton’s Evan Ferguson and RB Leipzig‘s Benjamin Sesko, 20, were both said to be on the shortlist.

Ferguson, 19, recently signed a new long-term contract at the Amex Stadium and will likely cost upwards of £100m.
