ARSENAL will kick off the 2024-25 Premier League season against Wolves.

Mikel Arteta’s men fell agonisingly short of a first title for 20 years on the final day of the last campaign.

They lost out to Manchester City by just two points on the final day.

However, their campaign to get revenge next term begins at The Emirates with Wolves the visitors on August 17.

The Gunners then travel to their first top four opponent Aston Villa and play their first North London derby of the season on September 14 – their four game of the season.

A week later Arteta’s side travel to title rivals City – meaning they take on three sides who finished in the top five last season in their opening five matches.

Arsenal host Prem newcomers Ipswich on Boxing Day, while their first game of 2025 will be a trip to Brighton.

Another visit to the south coast awaits the Gunners on the final day of the season, as they take on Southampton.

One more fixture to look out for is the visit of Manchester United on December 3, while Arsenal host Spurs on January 14.

In total, there will be 380 Premier League matches spread across 33 weekends, four midweek rounds of fixtures and a Bank Holiday matchweek.

Arsenal have a tricky start to the season

The 2024-25 season gets underway on the weekend of August 17-18 and finishes on May 25, 2025.

That is a week later than the FA Cup final, which returns to the penultimate week of the season following changes which saw the scrapping of replays.
