The Arsenal legend is even sparring and revealed he has contemplated whether to fight or not.
Wilshere went on George Groves’ podcast and was asked by co-host Declan Taylor what past or present footballer he would want to face.
And he said: “I’d like to do it with someone I know. You know Aaron Creswell? I played with him.
“I can always remember him sort of floating around the training ground sort of putting his hands up pretending to fight people.
“I think I’d like to have a go with Creswell. He’s a similar height to me as well, similar weight.”
Wilshere, 31, spent two years with Cresswell, 33, at West Ham.
But he would put friendship aside with the left-back to ensure they put on a show in and out of the ring.
Wilshere said: “I’ll hammer him. I’d hammer everything to do with him, his mum, everything. His mum’s getting it.”
