ARSENAL fans have been hit by a major travel disruption just hours before their trip to Brighton.

A landslide in the Hassocks/Burgess Hill area has caused some train lines to close between Haywards Heath and Brighton.

This is set to have a severe impact on Gunners supporters heading to the South Coast for the 5.30pm kick-off at the Amex.

A tweet from Brighton on X read: “There is disruption on the train lines today between Haywards Heath and Brighton due to a landslide which means some lines are closed.

“Trains may be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised and disruption is expected until the end of the day.

“We advise fans travelling to today’s game to leave early and follow @SouthernRailUK for updates.”
