Arsenal fans ‘burst into uncontrollable laughter’ as Jamie Carragher reveals awkward reason club will never win league
ARSENAL fans have found themselves laughing at Jamie Carragher’s comments on why their team will never win the league.
The former Liverpool legend gave a pretty polarising reason as to why the Gunners won’t be able to lift the trophy come May.

And he’s pointed at one specific player as the downfall in Arsenal’s title ambitions.
Speaking on CBS Sports, he said: “Arsenal will NEVER win the league with [Aaron] Ramsdale in goal, no chance.”
His comments come after Mikel Arteta has replaced Aaron Ramsdale with David Raya for Arsenal’s last two games.
The North London outfit have kept two clean sheets with Raya in-between the sticks in 1-0 away win at Everton and a dominant 4-0 victory over PSV at the Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal fans aren’t best pleased with Carragher’s comments and have leapt to the defence of their goalkeeper who has made 83 appearances and kept 30 clean sheets for their club.
One said: “Even if Raya turns out to be the better keeper that is complete nonsense.”
Whilst a second added: “He arguably kept us in the title race last season. There was no need for this.”
Others laughed off the quotes by Carragher claiming he had no right to talk about winning titles after he spent 17 years in the Liverpool team, making 737 appearances and failing to lift the Premier League trophy.

One wrote: “I read ‘Jamie Carragher win the league’ and just burst into the biggest fit of uncontrollable laughter LOOOOOL”
And another chimed in saying: “Of course Jamie Carragher would know what it takes to NOT win the league.”
Raya joined Arsenal this summer on a season-long loan from Brentford with the option for a permanent move included in his deal.
It’s yet to be seen whether Arteta will opt for Raya or Ramsdale when his side do battle with their fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
But it feels as if the Spanish gaffer is leaning toward his new arrival after starting him in both of their last two games.
