Arsenal appoint ‘Tekkers guru’ named Hussein Isa in newly-created role of attacking-phase coach to help their strikers
MIKEL ARTETA has appointed a new member of staff to his Arsenal backroom team.
The Gunners have made Hussein Isa, who is known as the “Tekkers Guru”, their new attacking-phase coach.

The role will see the 34-year-old former non-league attacking midfielder work with both the first-team squad and academy starlets.
According to The Athletic, the nickname of “Tekkers Guru” comes from the huge following he has gained for showcasing his skills and free-kick ability online.
Now Arsenal are hoping that he will “provide specialist assistance” to their forward players and will be mainly focusing on their shooting, heading and touch.
Isa has represented England at futsal and recently worked for non-league Hashtag United.
He was a trainee at Arsenal’s North London rivals Tottenham as a teenager.
After his playing days, he worked in the academies of both QPR and Crystal Palace before departing to have a go at it on his own.
Isa has also worked on a number of commercial shoots by standing in for star-studded names such as Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero.
According to this report, he will not begin work with the Premier League leaders instantly.

Instead, it states that the plan is for him to take up his new position in the summer.
That’s when the Gunners begin their preparations for the 2023/24 campaign.
