Antony has only amassed one goal and one assist in 28 Premier League appearances

The Brazilian struggled against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park

The Brazil international has amassed a mere 11 goals and five assists in 81 appearances across all competitions since his disappointing Old Trafford stint began.

That includes only one goal and one assist in 28 Premier League matches this season.

Antony, 24, failed to turn his troubling season around on Monday at Selhurst Park where the Red Devils suffered a humiliating 4-0 loss to Crystal Palace.

Damning stats show the forward only managed one shot, won three duels and lost four.

The ex-Ajax star also failed to complete a single dribble or accurate cross against Palace.

If that wasn’t enough, Antony failed to make a single touch inside the Eagles’ area.

The Brazilian also received criticism from a fuming Jamie Carragher at full-time as he appeared animated while speaking to Mason Mount, covering his mouth and gesturing with his fingers.

Carragher told Sky Sports: “Just get off the pitch! I mean, talking, whispering behind your hand.

“Been absolutely awful. You’re probably talking about one of the players or somebody else or the set-up or the manager.

“Just get off the pitch. Shut up and get in. You’ve been beat 4-0. Whispering and talking about other players, honestly, embarrassing.”

Antony has a contract with United that runs for another three years and could be one to go as part of an end of season cull by Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
