Trump has won seven of their 12 finals meetingsRex

Across their glittering careers, the duo can barely be separated in 31 total matches, with O’Sullivan pipping Trump with 16 wins to 15.

However, Trump has come out on top in seven of their 12 meetings in tournament finals.

In total, they have played a combined 2,896 professional matches, with the Rocket ranking on top for wins, maximums and prize money.

He has also won more tournaments, including seven World Championships to Trump’s single triumph in 2019.

O’Sullivan’s most recent world title in 2022 saw him beat his rival in their only final meeting at the Crucible.

It was their most recent meeting, though, which provided an infamous interaction between the pair.

The 2022 Champion of Champions final saw O’Sullivan claim victory in November last year as he saw off a spirited fight back to win 10-6.

O’Sullivan had refused a handshake after Trump had scored a 147 earlier in the contest.

Some fans have claimed the feud is snooker’s greatest ever rivalry, with one arguing: “Definitely the biggest rivalry in snooker at the moment in terms of sheer quality.”

Another wrote on social media: “Trump and O’Sullivan is easily a better rivalry than Hendry and White or Davis and Higgins, simply because Judd is far more competitive with Ronnie.”

Despite their clashes, though, Trump attended the London premiere of O’Sullivan’s new film this week.
