Patrick Kpozo set to return from loan to Swedish top-flight side OstersundsÂ
Swedish side Ostersunds is set to recall Ghanaian footballer Patrick Kpozo from loan in the January transfer window.
Ostersunds manager Amir Azrafshan is impressed with the performance of the 23-year old, currently on loan to IFK Lulea in the Division 1.
Kpozo has an expiring contract and Ostersunds are interesting in make his deal permanent due to his impressive display.
Amir Azrafshan is also interested in giving the Ghana national a chance at the club in a bid to save his career, which has been on the downward since moving to the Swedish League.
The Coach believes Patrick Kpozo can improve his side with his qualities and performances.
“He is an interesting player that I hope to keep. -I have seen a few more matches precisely because I want to know the quality and level.
“He has some exceptional qualities and it is important to get them out, like any other player. There is a reason why he came to stersund from the beginning. – Then sometimes it does not work and then you have to find yourself in a different environment.
“It has gone quite well for him in Lule. He has a fantastic speed and it is at a fairly high level. A nice left foot and has the ability to find passes between lines. – I know that we have offered him a proposal, then we are waiting for an answer from him”, he added.
Patrick Kpozo left AIK in 2017 after he was loaned out to Troms, among other places.
