Man Utd face more bad news as Real Madrid come in for top transfer target for broken defence with rivals also in mix
MANCHESTER UNITED have suffered a transfer blow with two top clubs entering the race for Goncalo Inacio, according to reports.
The Red Devils’ nightmare season continued last night as they slumped to a 3-0 defeat to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup.

They have now conceded three goals in six games this term with the club desperate to fix their leaky defence.
Sporting Lisbon star Inacio is supposedly one of the club’s top centre-back targets.
The 22-year-old already has four Portugal caps to his name, having also won the Primeira Liga title and domestic cup twice.
His good performances have caught they eye of Real Madrid and Liverpool, claim outlet AS.
They are both set to rival United in the battle to sign him.
SunSport exclusively revealed last month that Erik ten Hag had sent scouts to watch the defender play in the Europa League against Atalanta.
But Real Madrid could reportedly swoop in January with Carlo Ancelotti keen to replace Eder Militao, who is out for the season with an ACL injury.
Inacio signed a new contract at Sporting last summer that runs until 2027.

It saw him increase his release clause from £39million to £52million.
