Arsenal fans say ‘we all know why Mikel Arteta dropped Aaron Ramsdale now’ after horror blunder in West Ham mauling
ARSENAL fans reckon there’s no way back for Aaron Ramsdale after a costly Carabao Cup blunder.
The keeper fumbled in Jarrod Bowen‘s shot as West Ham triumphed 3-1.

And supporters say they now “all know why” Mikel Arteta axed the England ace for loanee David Raya in the Premier League.
The Hammers led 2-0 at the break through Ben White‘s own goal and a stunner from Mohammed Kudus.
And after White attempted to head the ball clear on the hour, Bowen fired a deflected volley that Ramsdale got hands to but couldn’t keep out.
Martin Odegaard‘s reply on 96 minutes was little consolation for the Gunners and no distraction for fans from their stopper’s plight.
One viewer posted: “I’m just gonna stop tweeting about Ramsdale and Raya cos I just want the conversation to be over now.”
Another said: “We all know why Mikel Arteta dropped Aaron Ramsdale now.”
It came as Hammers’ supporters at the last-16 tie at London Stadium chanted: “You should have signed a proper keeper.”
Arsenal boss Arteta rested big names ahead of Saturday’s Prem trip to Newcastle, while Declan Rice only came on as a sub against his old club.

And one fan said of Wednesday’s line-up: “None of Ramsdale, White, Zinchenko or Gabriel is a leader.”
Nonetheless, some supporters have previously flooded social media with surprise at Raya being entrenched as first-choice in the league.
And one observer hit out: “Ramsdale the scapegoat.. fickle fans. Who do you think you are? Man United fans?”
