The United sub was frustrated as midfielder Doku helped City ease homeEPA
But it was the Brazilian’s confrontation that most stunned viewers.
United’s home humiliation had long been confirmed by Phil Foden’s strike on 80 minutes, following a double from Erling Haaland.
And it was deep in stoppage time when Antony launched into an astonishing series of niggles with in-form midfielder Doku.
The former Ajax star had already swung out twice with his boot as the Belgian weaved in from the left.
City were awarded a free-kick but Antony still squabbled with Doku – before whipping an arm up towards him.
However, after a VAR check, the wideman still walked away with just a yellow card.
One fan reckoned Antony was simply fed up with Doku’s mini exhibition of fancy footwork.
He posted: “Doku showing Antony how to dribble like an actual winger, you can almost taste his tears.”
