ETHAN PINNOCK’S second half strike handed Brentford a 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men came into the game on a four-game unbeaten strike and impressed in their 2-2 draw with Arsenal last weekend.

But they were undone by the Bees on Saturday lunchtime on a frustrating afternoon for the Blues faithful.

Shortly before the hour mark, Bryan Mbeumo lofted a cross to the back post where Pinnock was there to meet it with a powerful header.

And Brentford sealed the three points in added time when keeper Robert Sanchez went forward, only for the visitors to clear their lines before Neal Maupay laid the ball off for Mbeumo to tap into an empty net.

The result moves Brentford above Chelsea into 10th place in the Premier League table.
