All Blacks rout Pumas in chilling Rugby World Cup final warning to England and South Africa

WILL Jordan led the way as the All Blacks crushed Argentina to reach their fifth World Cup Final.

Wing ace Jordan grabbed a hat-trick to take his tally to a tournament leading eight tries, as the three-time winners romped home.

And the scary thing is that the Kiwi mean machine barely had to get out of second gear in a horrible last four mismatch.

Shannon Frizell also scored twice in a seven try mauling as New Zealand racked up the biggest semi-final victory margin since they beat Wales 49-6 in the first World Cup back in 1987.

Six weeks ago, they were beaten in the tournament opener by the gleeful hosts. 

But while Les Bleus are still licking their World Cup wounds, the All Blacks will be back at the Stade de France next Saturday, aiming for a record fourth win.

Argentina actually made the brighter start, rewarded when Emiliano Boffelli drew first blood.

It was simply poking the bear. By the interval the only question was the margin of victory.

Jordan was all alone on the right to stride over the line for the first after the Argentine defence was committed inside.

With their next attack, after Mark Telea snaffled possession on his own 22, it was two.

Argentina were flailing as the ball was moved right, left and then right again, Jordan feeding Jordie Barrett to barge his way through.

Richie Mo’unga missed that conversion but for all the Pumas’ endeavour – and they were irked by Aussie ref Angus Gardner’s breakdown rulings – there was an inevitability about the outcome.

Even when Boffelli added another three when a call went in their favour, Mo’unga was instantly handed the chance to restore the advantage. 

Indiscipline costs points, another penalty leading to New Zealand’s third try on the half’s final play, flanker Frizell walking in after the jinking, twisting Telea carried to within a yard.

The second half was a continuation. 

Scrum half Aaron Smith scampered over unhindered from the 22 after being fed as the Argentine pack went into reverse.

And more Pumas pain followed as the All Blacks bludgeoned away before Frizell scored his second try from close range.

As Argentina accepted their fate, New Zealand emptied the bench to twist the knife.

Jordan scored his second try when he popped up on the left after a sustained siege.

And his hat-trick was a thing of beauty, a step inside from his own 22, burst into the Argentine half and perfectly-weighted chip and regather.

England and South Africa know what awaits them if they win tonight.
