But after the weigh-in on Friday Danis was caught asking Fury for tips on how to throw a jab and whether it’s OK to hold your elbow up high.
Fury, 24, was happy to help him out and seemed laid back ahead of his own grudge match.
Fans showed concern for Danis as he appeared to lack basic boxing knowledge just hours before his showdown with Paul in Manchester.
One said: “I hope to God he’s joking.”
Another added: “This is why Dillon should have got a boxing coach. He would have told him if the shots were illegal and trained him in the right way.”
A third wrote: “And this is the guy people think will win.”
And another remarked: “Tommy knows he’s going to lose.”
Danis, 30, accused Paul of “missing weight” and “changing rules” ahead of their highly-anticipated bout.

The MMA star claimed it should be off as he tweeted: “Logan Paul just missed weight.”
But Paul, 28, quickly hit back at those claims by Danis by showing a clip of himself on the scales that showed his weight at 194.3lbs in a social media post at 11:41am.
Earlier this week Danis choked out adult star-turned-boxer Elle Brooke, who described the feeling as “better than drugs”.
