Christian Eriksen pinpoints Man Utd’s two major issues after horror start to season
CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN has pointed to two major issues plaguing Manchester United this season.
United have made a poor start to the campaign and sit 10th in the table going into the international break.

The club are yet to pick up a point in their Champions League group with two losses from two.
Scott McTominay did at least spare the club’s blushes at the weekend with his two goals in stoppage time to beat Brentford 2-1.
United will be hoping to build on that when they return from the international break against Sheffield United on October 21.
Eriksen believes that United’s wretched injury record is one cause of the club’s slow start – and the other is that they’ve simply conceded too many goals.
Asked about the club’s start on international duty, he said: “I think you should ask the coach what he thinks.
“We have been hit hard by injuries in defence. We have simply conceded too many goals.
“I was sick last week, but I’m doing fine. I don’t have any flaws. The body feels good, and of course I want to play every game.
“But if you have seen the matches yourself, you may also see that (Ten Hag) plays with slightly different types than me.”

Denmark have two favourable fixtures during the international break, which should give Eriksen some respite.
The Danes take on Kazakhstan and San Marino in Euro 2024 qualification.
The Danes will need to get wins however as they sit in second place behind Slovenia on goal difference on 13 points.
Finland and Kazakhstan are both one point behind the Danes as they look to pip their way in to Euro 2024.
