BRENTFORD forward Kevin Schade went down with an injury during the warm-up ahead of his side’s clash with Everton on Saturday night.

The forward, 21, was set to start on the left of the Bees’ front three at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Bees’ medical team rushed to his aidRex

But after taking a shot during the warm-up, he immediately went down as the Sky Sports cameras caught the incident during their live coverage.

Schade appeared to be clutching his leg in what looked to be a thigh injury.

And he was swiftly taken out of the starting XI as manager Thomas Frank replaced him with Keane Lewis-Potter.

It was a major blow to Brentford – who are having to field an attacking trio without Ivan Toney as he remains banned until January.

Schade scored the opening goal in the Bees’ 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace earlier this month.
