BURNLEY owner Alan Pace has raised eyebrows by revealing that TWO bosses were interviewed before Vincent Kompany.

Pace sacked Sean Dyche in April 2022 and revealed he had spoken to the candidates, along with current chief Kompany.

Both names are bleeped out —  but insiders know their identities.

Pace must be content he went with Manchester City legend Kompany.

Burnley romped back to the Premier League at the first attempt.

Kompany’s men won the Championship by 10 points from Sheffield United.
