Former midfielder Ryan Mason is currently at the helm having taken over from Conte’s former assistant Cristian Stellini, who was sacked after just four games as interim boss.

But Tottenham chief Daniel Levy is eager to appoint a new manager before the 2023-24 campaign kicks off.

According to TalkSPORT, Spurs have identified Brentford boss Thomas Frank as a contender for the job.

And the Bees are now expecting to receive an approach.

Frank was appointed Brentford manager in October 2018 following the departure of Dean Smith.
