Joe Fournier says ‘CHEAT’ KSI should be ’embarrassed’ by illegal elbow as he demands rematch before Tommy Fury bout

JOE FOURNIER has labelled KSI a “f***ing embarrassment” and called for a rematch after he suffered a knockout loss following what appeared to be an illegal elbow.

Fournier, 40, hit the canvas and failed to beat the count in the second round of his clash with the YouTube star on Saturday night.

But replays clearly showed it was an elbow that sent the businessman crashing to the ground.

And Fournier was left furious during his post-fight media duties as he called out KSI for the illegal shot.

Speaking to Fred Talks Fighting, he said: “He cheated, it’s clear, you’ve all seen the replays. He hit me with a clean elbow.

“When you’re fighting the promoter on his own show – I’ve never been cheated like that.

“I can’t believe I came on this promotion to teach kids you’ve got to do the right thing, you’ve got to be ethical, you’ve got to work hard for everything you get. Not to cheat and you win.

“And furthermore the terrible sportsmanship from Alexis [KSI’s coach] coming and disrespecting me in the corner when they’ve clearly cheated after that – f***ing embarrassment.

“Embarrassment to the sport of boxing.”

KSI scuffled with Tommy Fury after his win over Fournier as the Love Island star looks set to face off against him.

But Fournier is adamant he deserves a rematch due to the controversial nature of the fight.

He added: “Of course you’ve got to run it back, he should be disqualified. That should go down as a loss.

“You can’t walk up to someone in boxing and elbow them. It’s not Muay Thai, it’s not MMA, it’s boxing.

“I don’t know whatever the f*** they’ve got to do but if we run this back we need real judges and real referees. Period.

“Run it back. 90 days, 120 days. I’m ready to fight this year again.”
