He also has completely shaved sideburns in a sign of the times.

Born in Oklahoma, this figure became a promising American football star, winning a scholarship at the University of Georgia.

From there, he would be drafted by the LA Rams, where he spent a season in 1990.

Later, he would spend two years at the Atlanta Falcons between 1992 and 1994.

He says that his NFL career ended when he “tore his lower abdomen off his pelvis”.

During his NFL rehab, he would begin power lifting and MMA training, where he was spotted by wrestlers Sting and Lex Luger.

The ex-NFL player would debut in WCW in 1997, going a year without defeat.

Following WCW’s demise in 2002, Goldberg would spend a year at All Japan Pro Wrestling before joining WWE in 2003.

He retired from wrestling in 2004 before returning 12 years later, aged 49.

It was then that Goldberg would enjoy his best stint in WWE, as he became Universal Champion.
