Why isn’t Francesca Cumani presenting for ITV at Cheltenham this year?

CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL returns on March 14, but ITV Racing presenter Francesca Cumani won’t be.

The horse racing expert will not be a part of ITV’s coverage for the 2023 Cheltenham Festival.

Cumani was a co-presenter for ITV alongside Ed Chamberlin at last year’s Cheltenham Festival.

She became a part of ITV’s presenting team in 2016 and has often co-presented Cheltenham in the past.

The 40-year-old is currently working for Channel 10 Sport in Australia.

Back in 2019, she signed a five-year deal with Channel 10 worth $1 million.

Who is Francesca Cumani?

Francesca Cumani was born in Newmarket, Suffolk, in January 1983 and is a horse racing presenter, commentator and expert.

She is the daughter of former Italian horse trainer Luca Cumani, who trained horses at Bedford House Stables in Newmarket from 1976 to when he retired in 2019.

Luca trained two winners in the Epsom Derby, Kahyasi in 1988 and High-Rise in 1998.

Francesca has always had an affiliation with horse racing, even her grandparents were involved in horses, with her nan Elena being a former amateur champion jockey.

Cumani even used to ride herself as an amateur jockey.

Who is Francesca Cumani dating?

Francesca is currently dating businessman and triathlete Max Johnson.

The pair had their first child together back in June 2022 as they welcomed Teddy George Johnson to the world.

Teddy George is Cumani’s second child, as she was already a mother to son Harry.

Francesca had Harry with her ex-husband and Australian polo player Rob Archibald.
