FESTIVAL fever is rampant at the moment with the big meeting just around the corner.

Bravemansgame is our big hope in the Gold Cup and I can tell you he looks an absolute picture, his coast is gleaming.
Some of the media came down to chat with Paul Nicholls on Monday and the horse didn’t turn a hair when posing for a few photos.
Outside of the obvious contenders, I think one of ours who has a great squeak at a good price is Stay Away Fay.
He runs in the Albert Bartlett on Gold Cup day and he looks well overpriced at around 20-1.

He is a very talented young horse who was second in a Grade 2 at Doncaster last time and he has been pleasing us at home on the gallops.
One horse who won’t be heading to Cheltenham this year is dear old Frodon.
He ran another good race under top-weight at Kempton last week and he has come out of it in good shape.
I took him for a pick of grass the other morning and couldn’t get him off the lawn – needless to say we stayed for another five minutes!
He will go straight for the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown in April now, the race he won two years ago.
I head to Newbury for just the one ride today, but hopefully Onemorefortheroad (3.25) has a good chance.
The eight-year-old has been a good servant for Neil King and he didn’t actually run too badly in the Betfair Hurdle last time.
He carries top-weight today and he is down in class, so we are hoping he can put up a good show at a track he likes.
