Lawler, 73, suffered a medical episode while staying at his condo in Florida on Monday afternoon.
Lawler had recently appeared on the 30th anniversary episode of WWE Raw and also on the Royal Rumble 2023 Kick-off Show panel.
He also did a signing in Florida over the weekend.
Action News 5 say Lawler suffered a stroke and has undergone surgery at a Florida hospital.
And Ross claims he has since spoken to Lawler, providing fans with an important update.
He tweeted: “I spoke very briefly with Jerry Lawler tonight.
“He’s obviously weak but I could understand his affected speech.
“Jerry’s prognosis is positive, but he needs all our thoughts and prayers.”
It’s not the first time Lawler has suffered a health scare.
On September 10, 2012, live episode of Raw, Lawler had a ringside cardiac arrest.
Thankfully for Lawler, he happened to be sitting right next to the WWE’s doctor, Dr. Sampson, when he collapsed.
The doctor’s quick thinking to perform CPR then and there saved Lawler’s life.
Lawler also suffered a stroke while having sex with his partner, Lauryn McBride, weeks before Wrestlemania 34.
The WWE icon’s whole right side of his face was drooping all the way down to his chin, he revealed a number of years ago.
