2020/21 GPL: Ashanti derby- Asante Kotoko will lose to AshGold on Sunday- Deputy Coach

AshantiGold SC deputy coach Thomas Duah is confident of victory against Asante Kotoko on match day 11 of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.The two sides face off in the regional derby on Sunday at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium.The miners will be hoping to bounce back from that 5-2 defeat against Legon Cities as they come up against the Porcupine Warriors.Thomas Duah said his team is prepared ahead of the big game on Sunday.”Ashgold will beat Kotoko on Sunday.Apart from Appiah Mccarthy,all the players are fit for the game,and we will have a new Appiah Mccarthy on Sunday”he said.”Playing against Asante Kotoko or Hearts of Oak is a big game,and during that game as a player you don’t wait for somebody to talk you,you psyche yourself”.AshGold will be hoping to maintain their home record as they are yet to lose at the Len Clay Sports Stadium.Asante Kotoko will be searching for a win in this encounter after losing to Aduana Stars in their previous league game.The two teams are both leveled up on points on the league table.The miners are fourth on the league log with 16 points whilst Asante Kotoko is sixth on the table with also 16 points.
