Hamburg defender Jan Gyamerah makes injury return against DusseldorfÂ
German-born footballer of Ghanaian descent Jan Gyamerah made a quick return from injury to play for his side against Dusseldorf on Tuesday in the Bundesliga II.The game ended goalless with both sides sharing the spoil after regulation time.The 25-year old suffered an ankle injury in training at the beginning of January and was looking forward to his comeback against Paderborn on Saturday 30 January, 2021.However Gyamerah made a quick recovery and was selected for the game against Dusseldorf which he lasted 55 minutes in the game before being substituted by Amadou Onana.He replaced Josha Vagnoman who was ruled out of the game due to injury,Gyamerah will be hoping to come back stronger after his injury return to help his secure promotion to the Bundesliga.Hamburg currently lies on top of the table with 37 points after 18 matches played.
