‘Hypocritically ungrateful’ – Cristiano Ronaldo’s sister unleashes blistering attack on Man Utd star’s critics
CRISTIANO RONALDO’s sisters are on the counter-offensive with Katia blasting her brother’s “hypocritically ungrateful” critics.
The 37-year-old has stolen the spotlight less than a week out from the start of a World Cup following a sit-down interview with SunSport columnist and TalkTV main man Piers Morgan.

Ronaldo sat down with Sun columnist Morgan in a revealing interview
Ronaldo took aim at his club Manchester United, accusing them of betrayal during what was a tough period for his family with the passing of his son, and his daughter being in hospital.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner also admitted he does not respect manager Erik ten Hag, while also putting former team-mates Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville on blast.
Ronaldo also criticised the club’s infrastructure and name dropped what club’s in England are ahead of the Red Devils.
The interview has caused quite the stir and Ronaldo is receiving criticism from all angles – something sisters Elma and Katia are not willing to sit by and watch.

And so the pair have jumped into the ring and hit back at brother Ronaldo’s “hypocritically ungrateful” critics.
On her brother speaking out, Katia said on Instagram: “I’m glad that character and dignity don’t leave you. I feel sorry for people who live with their chins up, pointing the finger as if they had built more than you.
“There are people who are like this: weak, ‘untrue’ (I don’t even know if this word exists) but I’m not at all worried about it either; there are people who live in the shadows, who live in front, who live in the dark, are hypocritically ungrateful even with themselves; nowadays someone themselves, being brave, being safe, is criticized, people drown in their own illusion.
“Many live to see others walk, even the ground is afraid to step on, because they are afraid of falling. Poor people, in fact, they don’t who is real is less or more than anyone, but who is real is greater.

“It’s hard to find people like that these days.
“You had everything to keep silent, you don’t need to prove anything else, you built an empire out of nothing, you already have a legacy for the next generations, that no one takes away from you anymore, you could scratch your tomatoes (yes I say so) and whistle to the On the other hand, take your private jet to wherever you want, you could ride your 27 meter long boat and enjoy the days in the sun of the country you wanted.

“You could and still can do anything you want, but once again you decide to be different and brave as few cowards are.

“They said (poor people) only those who know where they came from know where they are going and you, my brother, know what you are made of.

Other sister Elma, meanwhile, asked followers for a “rascal” CNN Portugal presenter’s name.
Sharing the clip of the presenter on her Instagram, Elma said: “Can anyone tell me who this rascal is who should wash that mouth before talking about Ronaldo, you must be a sad and unloved, you should be ashamed to talk about whoever it is much less Ronaldo, look in the mirror, you have a face of you’re the one with the problem, and mental, go and treat yourself … Sad figures that we put in comments… regrettable.”
Elma also declared “the truth is being told” in a series of Instagram stories.
Whether Katia and Co will turn on CR7’s club and/or Portugal team-mates is yet to be seen.

Ronaldo appeared to get a more than frosty greeting from United “pal” Bruno Fernandes when they linked up ahead of the World Cup.
Fernandes muttered a few words to Ronaldo and briefly shook his hand after walking into the dressing room.
