Tottenham are the team that takes the shortest time with their goal kicks, with Ange Postecoglou‘s demands for high-octane football seeing them take just 16.9 seconds to take a goal kick on average.

At the other end of the scale, champions and league leaders Manchester City have the longest delay in taking their goal kicks this season, with an average time of 39.3 seconds.

Challengers in chief Arsenal rank second in this regard, with the Gunners taking 37.8 seconds on average to take a goal kick.

Newly-promoted Ipswich take 37.7 seconds to take goal kicks, while third-place Newcastle take 35.3 seconds.

Brighton, Manchester United and Liverpool are quick starters like Spurs, taking 18.5, 20.3 and 21.5 seconds to take a goal kick on average.
