The nine short holes give the pros the chance to get some final short-game practice in before the tournaments gets underway on Thursday morning.

But it also enables their nearest and dearest to take some shots at the iconic Augusta National.

And Bubba Watson’s daughter took full advantage of her chance to shine.

Watson, 45, won the Masters in 2012 and 2014 – guaranteeing his invite for life at Augusta each April.

And the lefty LIV rebel has taken full advantage by heading to Georgia for this week’s action.

That meant taking part in the Par 3 Contest, with his youngster Dakota the star of the show.

Dakota, nine, sunk her first lengthy putt when dad Bubba encouraged her just to “barely tap it, just nudge it”.

She duly obliged and sent the ball rolling down the slope before dropping into the cup, cue wild cheers.

Dakota gave the crowd a humble wave before repeating her trick later on in the round.

Again, she just needed a gentle touch with her absolutely monster effort and it arced beautifully into the hole.

That led to rapturous celebrations from the patrons as she marched across the green to collect her ball and high-five her fellow young caddies.

She was not done there, though.

Dakota nailed a third tricky effort as she jumped in the air in delight and hugged her father, who captured the moment on his phone.

She then did a custom celebration with her older brother Caleb.

The pair were both adopted as babies by Bubba and his wife Angie who were unable to have biological children.

Watson Sr was due to be one of the first groups out when the main event got underway on Thursday morning but torrential rainfall pushed back the start.
