UEFA champions league team all-star XI has been released.
The all-star XI squad released on Thursday (today) had seven Liverpool players dominating the list with more English Premier League players.
The only Spanish and La Liga player that made it into the list is Real Madrid’s forward, Karim Benzema, Naija News understands.
Three Manchester City players were also listed in the squad. The UEFA Champions League team was revealed in a post on the organizer’s official website on Thursday following the conclusion of the semi-final first-leg fixtures.
The likes of Alisson Becker, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kevin De Bruyne, and Thiago Alcántara, among others, were impressive for their respective clubs during the last-4 first-leg ties played on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

Meanwhile, German professional football coach, Jurgen Klopp has reportedly come to terms with Liverpool to extend his stay till 2026.
The 56-year-old tactician’s current contract with the Reds expires in 2024, Naija News understands.
Klopp has been remarkable since he joined Liverpool from Borussia Dortmund in 2025.
He has helped the club to win the English Premier League title and Champions League respectively.
Reports had it that the president of Fenway Sports Group and influential in the running of the club, Mike Gordon, was a key player in the negotiation to nail the recent deal.
