BLACK STARS TO TRAIN FOR ONLY THREE DAYS AHEAD OF NIGERIA CLASH
Ghana Football Association has released the timetable for the Senior National Team ahead of their 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifier. The team would have the chance to train together for only three days.
The Black Stars are due to face off with the Super Green Eagles of Nigeria on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. The match is expected to kickoff at 7:30 pm.
According to the GFA schedule, the players would start arriving in Ghana on Friday, March 18. The last batch is also expected to arrive on Monday, March 20, 2022. They would converge in Accra and then fly to Kumasi on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.
Newly appointed coach, Otto Addo would hold his maiden training session with his team on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in the morning before the team enplane to Kumasi for the World Cup knockout.
The Black Stars are also schedule to train under closed doors. But the media would be allowed to have a look at the team for 15 minutes on Thursday. Coach Otto Addo and one selected player will also meet the press at the Media Centre after the last training.
The squad for the crucial game is yet to be released by the Ghana Football Association but has already been sent to FIFA.
