2020/21 Ghana Premier League: Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku wins man of the match after brace against Liberty

Kwame OpokuKwame Opoku has been named man of the match after playing a major role in Asante Kotoko’s 2-0 win over Liberty Professionals in the Ghana Premier League.The striker received the award for scoring both goals in the entertaining match at the Accra Sports Stadium.Opoku scored the first goal on 19 minutes as he latched on to Gama’s pass inside the penalty box and made room for himself before unleashing a powerful shot which took a kind deflection into the net.Four minutes later, Gama and Opoku combined again to double the lead. Opoku received a brilliant pass from Gama, got the better of his markers and dinked the ball over the onrushing goalkeeper.The goals were his fourth and fifth of the season, making him Kotoko’s top scorer.
